Why is it that we are all crazy when it comes to winter weather? Are we not hearty New Englanders? Are we not prepared for storms that may keep us indoors for a couple days?
Heck No! Well, at least I’m not. Last year I realized how woefully unprepared we were for a long spell without electricity – no batteries, no oil for my oil-burning lantern (hello 1800’s), no firewood, limited supply of Bailey’s (just to take the chill off). My friends at RogersGray (especially those in the homeowners insurance business) really should be so ashamed of me 🙁
So I promised myself I would get prepared this year. Then December came and our friends over at Cape Cod Broadcasting and CapeCod.com came-a-calling and reminded me it was time to get info together for the Storm Center sponsorship we do.
Shoot! Once again – we were already into Storm Season and I hadn’t done a thing. Oh well…there’s always next year I guess. In the meantime, have you seen the “Bread and Milk” video? It’s pretty hilarious…and has over 10 million views on YouTube. Check it out here…
